What is Abstract Art?

One of the main characteristics of abstract art is that it removes the dull realism. It is not the issue in an abstract painting recognizable. Even if they do not try to appear to be similar to something. An abstract painting is about the color, shape and features of it.

The fluidity of abstract painting is the main reason for the difference of abstract art to realism. The works of Kandinsky illustrates this. In addition, a geometric abstract painting is. One example is Mondrian’s abstract works.

Pablo Picasso is considered by other artists as the father of abstract painting. He made a way for a shift to the abstract painting from the figurative painting used to. Picasso, along with George Braque, has noted, cubism, a new type of image display. The idea of cubism centralized on the true meaning of an object, are covered only by a simultaneous demonstration of different angles.

Paintings, which are not optically as emotion, sound, and spiritual experience, all connected by the abstract art. Figurative abstraction of reality or simplifications are also with abstract painting, which removes detail from familiar objects and leaves the classified nature or a degree in identifiable form.

Because of the birth of synthetic cubism, analytical cubism, abstract art, have gained importance. Synthetic Cubism use solid colors and ornamental forms to take apart and reconstruct an object or produce their vitally important structural lines. Analytical Cubism, on the other side to reduce natural forms to their general geometric sections and bring them into line three-dimensional parts with a two-dimensional picture plane. In the analytical cubism, the colors are reserved and paintings are almost monochromatic. Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque, the leading cubist, led this movement. In contrast, popularized Piet Mondrian and many other artists from the years 1914 and from figurative paintings or pure abstract art, which also forms of Cubist painting.

In the 1940s, abstract expressionism began to emerge application of the principles of Expressionism to abstract painting. It is basically a painting movement, where artists paint immediately, shows strong feelings and emotions. This type of painting includes movements that are happening in gestural form, are not geometric, with large paint brushes, drip or even Farbewerfens in a screen. The followers of this movement characterized by a strong dependence on what comes up as an accident and coincidence, but the plan strongly.

There are a few artists of Abstract Expressionism, which are more involved with the implementation of a cheerful and exciting concept for a purely abstract image. Normally there is no effort in the presentation of the subject and not all are expressive, because they believe this expressionist artists that of an impulsive approach to its work and thus drawing the release of creativity in their unconscious. Their expressive style of painting was regarded as necessary as her paintings themselves.

In short, do not represent abstract art figurative images no realism. What it shows are real forms in fundamental ways. Thus the production of a play on a real subject of the most important principle of an abstract art.
